Hotel Kanazawa Launches Premium Banquet Plan Featuring Noto Beef, Abalone, and Nodoguro

Hotel Kanazawa in Kanazawa City is launching a new "Premium Banquet Plan" from May 1, 2026, designed for business occasions such as anniversaries, ceremonies, and important entertainment events, as well as special gatherings to mark life milestones. The plan makes use of carefully selected Hokuriku ingredients and is priced at ¥20,000 per person (tax and service charges included).

Two Course Options

The plan offers a choice between two menus: a traditional Japanese kaiseki course called the "Kaga Plan," and a Japanese-Western fusion course called the "Noto Plan." Both are all-inclusive, covering a full-course meal, a 2-hour open bar, and use of the banquet hall.

Available period: May 1, 2026 (Friday) to December 29, 2026 (Tuesday)
Price: ¥20,000 per person (tax and service charges included)

Hotel Kanazawa Selection – 2-Hour Open Bar

Both plans include a 2-hour open bar featuring a specially curated drink lineup. Compared to other banquet plans at the hotel, which offer one label each for sake, wine, and whisky, the premium plan provides two labels each for these three categories — six premium labels in total.

Drinks available:

  • Japanese sake (cold and warm)
  • Wine (red and white)
  • Whisky
  • Beer
  • Shochu (sweet potato and barley)
  • Sour cocktails
  • Plum wine
  • Soft drinks (oolong tea, orange juice, cola, ginger ale)

Prices displayed include consumption tax and service charges. Food content may vary depending on ingredient availability.

Optional Add-Ons

Additional services are available to enhance the occasion. Options include a patissier-crafted cake, take-home baked goods and sweet potato confections made with Gorojima Kintoki sweet potatoes, and arrangement of presentation flower bouquets.

Ten Banquet Halls for Every Occasion

Hotel Kanazawa has ten banquet halls of varying sizes, ranging from a 1,200 m² main ballroom called "Diamond" — one of the largest in Hokuriku — to smaller private dining rooms. The "Keyaki" traditional Japanese room, the garden-facing "Applause" hall, and the 16th-floor "Raspberry" room with panoramic views of Kanazawa city are also available. The spaces accommodate everything from small private gatherings to events for up to 1,000 guests.
