Hotel New Grand in Yokohama (10 Yamashita-cho, Naka-ku) will serve its "Strawberry Afternoon Tea" (苺のアフタヌーンティー) from December 1 (Tuesday), 2026 to February 28 (Sunday), 2027.
The sweets lineup is full of color. It includes the eye-catching "Strawberry Tiramisu," a "Marble Macaron" that pairs the flavors of strawberry and cheese, a "Caramel Strawberry Mousse" with crunchy crumble and roasted nuts, and the "Rouge Mont Blanc," which layers raspberry mousse and strawberry cream over a base baked from dark chocolate and almond cream. For the savories, the menu offers three selected items, including a "Strawberry Butter Sandwich" accented with refreshing mint and black pepper, and a "Mixed Berry and Cream Cheese Tartare" that gets tastier the more it is mixed in the glass. The result is a strawberry-filled afternoon tea that shows off the fruit in many different ways.

The lounge is popular for its elegant, European-style atmosphere.
La Terrasse is certified as a "Delicious Black Tea Shop" (おいしい紅茶の店) by the Japan Tea Association. The certification is given to shops recommended from among those across Japan where black tea can be enjoyed. La Terrasse is particular about brewing, from the color and aroma to the flavor of the tea, to offer a relaxing time with a good cup.
Bar Sea Guardian III (Sogo Yokohama, 10F)
The same Strawberry Afternoon Tea is also available at Bar Sea Guardian III (バー シーガーディアンⅢ), a restaurant run directly by the hotel on the 10th floor of Sogo Yokohama. The calm interior looks out over Yokohama Port, and guests can relax on comfortable sofas. Its direct connection to Yokohama Station also makes it a convenient place to take a break while shopping.

Take Home the Popular Scones
The hotel-made scones served with the afternoon tea are also sold for enjoying at home. Each pack contains four scones: two of a seasonally changing limited-edition flavor and two plain. They are crisp and fragrant on the outside and moist inside, making them a good match for breakfast or tea time.
