Hotel New Otani Makuhari's open-air garden restaurant, Shell the Garden, is set to offer three types of summer gourmet plans this season. Running from July 18 (Sat) through September 22 (Tue/holiday), 2026, each set includes a free-flow drinks package (120 minutes). Reservations open on June 8 (Mon) from 10:00 AM.

No Prep Needed — Enjoy a Luxury BBQ in the Garden: "Wagyu BBQ Set"

Available for dinner only, this BBQ set lets guests enjoy a full outdoor grilling experience without any of the hassle — no equipment to bring and no cleanup required. Premium ingredients include Japanese Black Wagyu beef and lobster, paired with a free-flow selection of over 20 beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The illuminated garden setting makes it a fitting venue for summer evening gatherings, company parties, or family outings.

Wagyu BBQ Set Menu:

  • Thai-style spicy glass noodle salad (Yam Wunsen)
  • Cold vichyssoise

BBQ Plate:

  • Grilled vegetables: onion, zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper, kabocha squash, corn
