"Empakusha" Immersive Walking Theater Opens in an Abandoned Hotel in Oppama, Yokosuka — Starting April 29

An immersive walking theater experience is coming to Oppama in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, transforming an abandoned hotel into the stage for "Empakusha" (淵泊渚), opening April 29, 2026 (Wednesday/Holiday) for a limited run.

The production is jointly organized by Sally Inc. and Mitsubishi Estate. Participants take on the role of "Natsushima," a mysterious guest invited to a closed hotel. Through real conversations with cast members and by exploring various rooms throughout the building, players gradually uncover an unsettling "anomaly" hidden within — all within a 90-minute experience in a fully exclusive-use venue.

Story

Why am I here — and who brought me to this place?

"We have been expecting you, Natsushima-sama."

You are welcomed as someone other than yourself — as "Natsushima" — into this hotel. Guided by an unseen presence, you move through the building's rooms, speaking with its residents. But something in this hotel is deeply wrong. Will you notice what it is before it's too late?
