Wonderia Yokohama Supported by Umios, the immersive experience facility inside the large-scale mixed-use district BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai, will hold "Winter Wonderia 2026," a limited-time event themed on the aurora, from Friday, November 20, 2026 to Monday, March 1, 2027. Along with aurora visual effects and a season mission in the app, visitors can experience the fantastical winter world through scents and flavors as well. Even in the cold season, the indoor event offers a new way to enjoy the aurora in a warm space.
Special Aurora Show in the LED Immersive Tunnel and Updated Scent Design
To mark the start of "Winter Wonderia 2026," Zone 2 "Dive to Blue," which has one of the largest permanent LED immersive tunnels in Japan (Note 1), will present a special aurora-themed show. Using the tunnel-style LED that seamlessly covers the floor, walls, and ceiling, the footage makes visitors feel as if they are pushing through a shimmering aurora or being wrapped in trails of stars. The show alternates with the regular spatial footage themed on the deep sea, so it can be seen at any time during operating hours.
The facility is also expanding its aroma diffusers. Until now, diffusers were installed at two locations: Zone 1 and the passage between Zones 3 and 4. Four new locations are being added (the wormhole, Zone 2, Zone 3, and Zone 4), for a total of six. Each scent is designed to match the world of its zone, so visitors can step into the world of Wonderia through smell as well as sight.

Wonderia App Season Mission, Part 2
The second installment of the season mission in the facility's official smartphone app, the "Wonderia App," which began with the autumn event "Wonderia Halloween 2026," will be held. This time the theme is the "heart-fluttering moments" of the creatures. Visitors can find six such moments hidden in the footage of each zone, such as a pair of foxes walking close together and swans that form a heart shape when they face each other, and collect them as winter-limited cards. The cards also include ecological information about how the creatures express affection, offering a new side of familiar animals.
Visitors who complete the mission and order a seasonal limited drink at Wonderia Cafe ("Snow White Mocha," "Lychee and Grapefruit Aurora Soda," or "Winter Yuzu Cream Soda") receive a mini macaron.
Four Winter-Limited Menu Items at Wonderia Cafe
From Friday, November 20, 2026 to Monday, March 1, 2027, Wonderia Cafe offers four winter-limited menu items inspired by the aurora and snow, so visitors can savor the lingering impression of the aurora world after the experience.

The packaging features illustrations of the wildcat, bear, and tanuki (raccoon dog) that visitors can meet at Wonderia Yokohama. The balms are recommended as a companion for winter outings when dryness is a concern, or as a souvenir with a Yokohama flavor.
