Experiential Art Week "INVISIBLE MUSEUM | Exhibition Where Your Unseen Emotions Come to Life" Opens in Yokohama

LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE, a global art unit that solves social issues through art, will host the experiential art week "INVISIBLE MUSEUM | Exhibition Where Your Unseen Emotions Come to Life" at Zou-no-Hana Terrace (operated by: Wacoal Art Center Co., Ltd.), a creative hub in Yokohama, from February 4 (Wed) to February 11 (Wed), 2026.

Inspired by interactions with children who cannot see or have low vision, "INVISIBLE MUSEUM" has been held since 2023 as an experiential art exhibition and event series that can be enjoyed through senses other than sight, such as hearing and smell. Drawing inspiration from Finland, considered the world's happiest country, this fourth edition in 2026 takes "emotions" as its theme. Through art exhibitions expressing emotions and experiences that help visitors confront their own feelings, the exhibition offers opportunities for various emotions to surface.

About "INVISIBLE MUSEUM"

This exhibition is the fourth iteration, following the first "INVISIBLE MUSEUM | Exhibition Searching for Invisible Precious Things" held in February 2023, which received widespread acclaim, a second edition held as a support program for the Yokohama Triennale, and the third edition in January 2025. The first three editions featured the subtitle "searching for invisible precious things," with exhibitions that could be enjoyed by people with visual impairments and events encouraging reflection on precious things that sighted people might overlook. The project has created inclusive art events where diverse people can enjoy, regardless of whether they are familiar with contemporary art or have special needs.

※Cultural prescription is a next-generation approach that promotes mental and physical health by "prescribing" opportunities to experience art and music, becoming mainstream worldwide. Featured at the Osaka Expo, it is spreading across Japan. In the UK, it has shown results including a 37% reduction in medical visits and 27% reduction in hospitalizations, attracting attention for reducing healthcare costs. Its application areas are expanding from adoption in MoMA's (Museum of Modern Art, New York) dementia care programs and classes for doctors and nurses at Harvard University to welfare, education, and community development.

③ Collaboration with Finland, the World's Happiest Country, Expressing "Emotions"

Lumico Harmony, representative of LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE, has continuously engaged in cultural exchanges with Finland and drawn inspiration following her marriage to a Finnish person. In 2025, during fieldwork in Finland, Lumico Harmony visited a local daycare center. She was deeply impressed by the children's habit of first expressing their feelings upon arrival at the facility. This led to making "emotions" the theme of this fourth exhibition, resulting in art displays encouraging authentic emotional expression and talk events exploring Finnish culture.
