Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers is hosting "Sheraton テーブルマナー for KIDS ~夏休みの昼餐会~" (Sheraton Table Manners for KIDS — Summer Luncheon), a limited summer program for children and families. Now in its latest edition, this annual event teaches dining etiquette in a fun, engaging way, with an added mini mocktail class led by a professional bartender.
The event takes place in the Manhattan Room on the 28th floor, a stylish venue known for its panoramic views over the city.
Learn Real Table Manners from the Pros
Hotel service professionals guide children through the essentials of fine dining etiquette — proper fork and knife handling, napkin use, and graceful posture — all tailored to a younger audience in an approachable and enjoyable way.
A Summer French Full-Course Menu
The chef from the French restaurant "ベイ・ビュー" (Bay View) has crafted a special full-course French menu using seasonal ingredients, designed to be approachable for children while satisfying for adults. A toast kicks off the meal: sparkling wine for adults (with a non-alcoholic option available) and refreshing 信州マスカットサイダー (Shinshu Muscat Cider) for children.

Mini Mocktail Class with a Professional Bartender
A highlight returning this year is the popular "Mini Cocktail Class" led by a professional bartender from Bay View. Children get hands-on with a real shaker, preparing two mocktails — one for themselves and one for a parent or guardian. The focused concentration as they shake, followed by the proud moment of presenting the finished drink, makes for a memorable experience unique to this summer event.

Special Keepsakes
At the close of the event, participants receive a commemorative photo with the chef and staff, presented in an original photo frame. Each child also receives a personalized table manners completion certificate bearing their name — a meaningful keepsake and potential material for summer holiday projects.
