Irago Resort & Convention Hotel, located in Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture, is opening "Irago Water Park," a floating athletic course, at its neighboring beach on July 18 (Saturday).
Sitting at the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, Irago Resort & Convention Hotel is an oceanfront resort. Right in front of the hotel, Irago Coconuts Beach (Irago Swimming Beach) — rated the prefecture's best water quality — will now feature "Irago Water Park," one of the largest floating athletic courses in Aichi Prefecture.

Tickets do not include a time reservation. On the day of use, visitors reserve their start time at the dedicated counter on the beach (reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis that day). Elementary school students in grades 1 to 3 may only use the park with a guardian, with up to two children per guardian. Preschool-age children may not use the park.
Hotel guests can also enjoy a discount of ¥700 off the ticket price, as well as limited tickets on July 21, 22, 23 and August 24 to 27 (Adults ¥1,500, Children ¥1,000). Details are available on the hotel's official website.
Irago Coconuts Beach (Irago Swimming Beach)
The beach has been restored and cleaned up by Tahara City, giving it a tropical feel. In Aichi Prefecture's 2026 swimming beach water quality inspection, it earned the No. 1 top rating of AA (double-A).
