ISEMAN CO., LTD. (headquartered in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, President: Daisuke Kobayashi), a group company of IX Holdings Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Ise City, Mie Prefecture), is releasing Single Malt Whisky Ise -2025 Edition-, the first Japanese single malt whisky from the Ise-Shima region, made with 100% malt spirit distilled and aged at the Ise Distillery.
This product will be available from December 30, 2025, in a limited edition of 250 bottles at ISEMAN Naikū-mae Brewery, located in front of Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine. Starting from the first day of release, the brewery will also offer limited paid tastings where visitors can enjoy this single malt whisky born in Ise on site.
Additionally, the ISEMAN official online store will conduct pre-sales for 30 bottles (10 bottles per day at 6:00 PM for three days) starting December 23.

Single Malt Nurtured by Ise's Terroir
Single Malt Whisky Ise -2025 Edition- is a single malt whisky made with 100% malt spirit distilled at the Ise Distillery. For this release, one cask was selected from multiple aging casks as the one that best represents the "current" flavor. It is an extremely rare Japanese whisky finished as a so-called single cask—a once-in-a-lifetime experience where the same flavor will never be born again.
ISEMAN has been working on whisky making, a dream since its founding, for the past four years. Single Malt Whisky Ise is the fruition of that aspiration. Using underground water from the clear Miya River and medium-peated malt, aged in bourbon casks, only 250 bottles capturing the "current" moment have been bottled. It features cask aromas reminiscent of vanilla and green apple, with a gentle, deep peat that harmonizes with richness, and a refreshing aftertaste followed by the lingering aroma of peat.
Please enjoy Ise-Shima's first single malt whisky, which has quietly matured over time in the land of Ise.
Product Design Expressing Ise's "Light" and "Time"
The bottle design features a sun motif symbolizing the mystical light of Ise. The delicate silver texture expresses the whisky's aging process quietly marking time within the cask and the mystique brought about by the passage of long years. ISEMAN has released alcoholic beverages with names that evoke celestial bodies such as Stella, Konen (Light Year), and Half Moon. This spirit is also inherited in the package design. Whisky Kamiji features a moon motif, while this Single Malt Whisky Ise features a sun motif in the label design. The label design itself tells the story of a bottle nurtured in the land of Ise and quietly aged over time.
Limited Paid Tasting at Naikū-mae Brewery from December 30 to January 3
For a limited period from December 30, the release date, to January 3, paid tastings will be held at ISEMAN Naikū-mae Brewery within Okage Yokocho. The number of servings is limited each day and will end when sold out. This is a valuable opportunity to experience Ise's first single malt whisky in the very land where it was born. Please enjoy this rare chance.
Three-Day Pre-Sale Exclusively on Online Store Starting December 23
The ISEMAN official online store will conduct pre-sales for 30 bottles (10 bottles per day at 6:00 PM for three days) starting December 23. This is a pre-sale timed for the year-end and New Year holidays.

We were finally able to commercialize a single malt whisky we had longed for, limited to one cask. To be honest, I was anxious about how well it would turn out with only three years of aging, but the moment I tasted it after taking it out of the cask, I was relieved by its quality beyond imagination. I would be happy if you could taste the "current" state of Whisky Ise as it continues to age further and reflect on its future maturation.
ISEMAN's Craft Whisky Journey So Far
ISEMAN has manufactured and sold alcoholic beverages such as shochu Stella, Konen, and sake Okagesama. In 2021, the long-held dream of whisky making from its founding came to fruition with the release of Blended Whisky Kamiji (KAMIJI), Ise-Shima's first craft whisky. In anticipation of future whisky production, the Ise Distillery blended Canadian grain spirits aged in white oak casks for over ten years with in-house manufactured malt whisky. Furthermore, in December 2023, Pure Malt Whisky Kamiji (KAMIJI) was released, vatting malt spirit distilled and aged at the Ise Distillery with long-aged Scottish malt.
Awards for ISEMAN's Whisky
Blended Whisky Kamiji won a Gold Medal at ISC (International Spirits Challenge) 2022, a global spirits competition, in its first year of release. Furthermore, at IWSC (International Wine and Spirits Competition) 2024, it achieved 98 points (the highest score in the category) and won the Gold Outstanding award, the only Japanese whisky to do so, receiving high international acclaim.
