Total Brand Rebranding Brings New Design to Fourth Location in Akihabara

JACK IN THE DONUTS underwent a major brand identity refresh in November 2025. The theme centers on "the creativity and ingenuity of sending something to someone special." The brand's excitement is expressed graphically through creative actions associated with donut making, such as "coating with chocolate," "icing," and "glazing."

The new design, featuring pop and playful color patterns, extends to the store interior, boxes, and staff uniforms, creating a "toy box-like space." The Yodobashi Akiba store becomes the second location in Tokyo to feature the new design, offering visitors a chance to experience the refreshed JACK IN THE DONUTS.

JACK IN THE DONUTS Offers Diverse Donuts Themed Around "World Donuts"

JACK IN THE DONUTS embraces the concepts of "bringing excitement to everyday life," "for everyone from children to adults," and "daily pricing." Since opening its first store in 2011, the brand has expanded to 34 locations nationwide, including franchise stores, centered in shopping malls. The lineup features "World Donuts" inspired by sweets from various countries, including the "Nama Malasada" (a unique arrangement of Hawaii's signature donut that has gained attention in Japan in recent years), as well as "Healthy Donuts" recommended for health-conscious customers. The menu rotates through 25 to 40 varieties across diverse categories. Beyond delicious taste, the brand has earned support for its reasonable pricing of homemade donuts starting from the 100-yen range and the joy of selection.

Yodobashi Akiba Store Restarts with New Design - Second Location in Tokyo

JACK IN THE DONUTS reopens its Yodobashi Akiba Store, which had been temporarily closed for renovation, incorporating the brand's new design. Following the Tokyo Dome City LaQua store, this becomes the second location in Tokyo to express the brand's total rebranding that started in November 2025.

Yodobashi Akiba is located in a highly convenient location directly connected to JR Akihabara Station's Showa-dori Exit and Central Exit, functioning as a large-scale complex facility spanning 9 floors. With one of Japan's largest Yodobashi Camera stores and offerings ranging from electronics to household goods, fashion, dining, and leisure, it's a shopping destination where visitors can enjoy a full day. Donuts serve as an easy choice for a break during shopping or as gifts and treats, making them popular with both tourists and a wide range of domestic and international customers.

To commemorate the opening, customers who purchase 1,500 yen (tax included) or more of donuts will receive a free donut voucher. *Available while supplies last, first-come, first-served.

Looking ahead, JACK IN THE DONUTS aims to expand to 100 domestic stores by 2040, continuing to deliver "excitement" to everyone from children to adults through unique donuts.
