A large-scale fireworks event, "JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO 2026 in Osaka – Nishikinohama," is set to take place at Nishikinohama Park in Kaizuka, Osaka on April 4, 2026. Taking advantage of the open waterfront setting along Osaka Bay, the event is planned to feature a wide display spanning approximately 300 meters and shells up to size 10 (10-go), coloring the night sky above Osaka Bay.
The venue, Nishikinohama Park, is one of the leading coastal parks along Osaka Bay, known for its white-sand beaches and scenic pine grove landscape. The event promises a special evening where the sea and sky become one.

Special Plans for the Fireworks Night
To coincide with the fireworks event, "Umi Terrace Nishikinohama" and its affiliated facility "Nishikinohama Auto Campsite Day-Trip BBQ Garden" will offer April 4 (Saturday)-only limited special plans.
The plans include fireworks-viewing spots from guest rooms or BBQ seats, along with exclusive perks such as all-you-can-drink alcoholic and soft beverages and an assortment of snacks. BBQ menus with carefully selected ingredients are also available as an optional add-on, making it easy to enjoy the fireworks without bringing anything along.
Reservations opened on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM. As this is a one-day-only limited offering, spots are expected to fill quickly.
About Umi Terrace Nishikinohama
All eight guest rooms at Umi Terrace Nishikinohama offer ocean views, with a sweeping expanse of sea and sky right outside the window. At dusk, guests can take in a beautiful sunset that has been named one of Japan's Top 100 Sunsets, enjoyed from the comfort of their room. On fireworks night, the open seaside setting adds even more magic to the experience.

There are four room types available to suit different travel styles. Options include rooms with private pools or heated jacuzzis, as well as dog-friendly rooms with a dog pool. One room also comes with its own dedicated dog run.
Each cottage is a fully private glamping unit, combining the open feel of outdoor accommodation with hotel-like comfort. Air conditioning, a bathroom, and a toilet are included in every unit, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round. In-room refrigerator drinks are complimentary, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
Food is welcome to be brought in, but BBQ dinner is also available. Two BBQ menu options are offered, featuring both mountain and ocean ingredients. This is an optional add-on.
Day-Trip BBQ at Nishikinohama Auto Campsite
The "Upper BBQ Garden," overlooking the sea, offers a day-trip BBQ experience. Beneath a covered roof, the space features spacious sofa seating where guests can relax and take in ocean views while enjoying a private outdoor atmosphere.
Two fully equipped, no-hassle BBQ sets are available, with additional ingredients orderable on the side. On the fireworks night, guests can enjoy their BBQ alongside the spectacular fireworks display from ocean-view seats.
