JOURNAL STANDARD, operated by Baycrews Inc., is releasing a Balmacaan Coat Cotton CORDURA WINDSTOPPER made exclusively with nanamica.
nanamica builds its "genreless" standard wear around the keywords "utility" and "sports," and this time the brand's signature Balmacaan coat gets a special-order model made exclusively for JOURNAL STANDARD.
A Classic Silhouette, Rebuilt for Function
The outer fabric is a chino blend of cotton and CORDURA® nylon yarns, keeping the natural texture unique to cotton while adding high durability. A garment-wash finish gives the fabric a soft, already-broken-in feel.
The lining pairs an ecru-colored organic cotton/COOLMAX® EcoMade twill with a WINDSTOPPER® Liner, prized for strong wind resistance and excellent breathability. The coat keeps its classic look while gaining functionality suited to modern city life.
The silhouette has also been reworked into a relaxed A-line cut for a more contemporary fit that pairs easily with a wide range of styling.
A through-pocket that reaches the inner lining is among the timeless details carried over, rounding out a special Balmacaan coat reimagined through JOURNAL STANDARD's eye.
