Kamogawa Sea World in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture, is bringing back its hugely popular summer event, Summer Splash, for 2026. The venue has revealed the official Summer Splash 2026 logo and launched exclusive merchandise to celebrate the announcement.
What Is Summer Splash?
Widely described on social media as a must-experience event, Summer Splash is Kamogawa Sea World's signature summer orca event. The centerpiece is the "Tail Burst," in which orcas use their enormous tail fins — spanning over 1.5 meters wide — to unleash powerful waves of water over the crowd. It is one of Japan's most spectacular "drench festivals," delivering the sheer force of the orcas directly to visitors in the audience.
Summer Splash 2026 Logo
The Summer Splash 2026 logo has been designed with a blue color scheme to evoke the energy of summer. The design incorporates the sensation of splashing water, the brilliance of sunlight, and the dramatic image of a powerful orca diving into the water. This 2026-exclusive logo will be used on in-venue decorations and merchandise throughout the season.
Original Splash T-Shirt — Exclusive Early Sale at the Venue
To mark the logo reveal, Kamogawa Sea World is offering a limited-edition original "Splash T-shirt" in an exclusive early sale inside the venue. The T-shirt features the Kamogawa Sea World logo on the left sleeve and the Summer Splash logo on the front. The back showcases a dynamic photo of a leaping orca, printed using a glitter heat-transfer technique that is resistant to wear and UV exposure, giving it a higher-quality finish than a standard T-shirt.
