Kanro and Minami Shinshu Kashikobo's Upcycled Gummy "Shizuku no Houseki Gumi Hojun Hakuto Flavor" Returns to 7-Eleven with Refreshed Package

Kanro — the confectionery company known for Kanro Ame candy and Pure Gumi — is re-releasing "Shizuku no Houseki Gumi Hojun Hakuto Flavor" with a refreshed package at 7-Eleven stores nationwide starting March 10, 2026.

Upcycled Gummy Made with White Peach Syrup

The "Shizuku no Houseki Gumi" (Dewdrop Jewel Gummy) series is co-developed with Minami Shinshu Kashikobo, an agricultural produce trading company specializing in dried fruit manufacturing and sales. The gummies are made using the syrup generated during the process of soaking fruit in a sugar solution when producing dried fruit — an ingredient that would otherwise go unused.

The series launched in 2024 with a dense apple flavor exclusively at 7-Eleven, earning praise for its chewy texture and rich taste. A white peach flavor followed in February 2025 as the second entry, and a shine muscat flavor was added in July 2025 as the third, with both receiving strong responses.

The returning "Shizuku no Houseki Gumi Hojun Hakuto Flavor" uses a concentrated syrup made by slowly soaking white peaches during the dried fruit production process, delivering chewy, melt-in-your-mouth gummies with an indulgent white peach taste.

Package Inspired by Achi Village's Flower Peach Scenery

Minami Shinshu Kashikobo is headquartered in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture — a village celebrated as the "Flower Peach Village" for the spectacular blooming of red, white, and pink ornamental peach blossoms from mid to late April. The renewed package design draws inspiration from this scenic landscape of southern Nagano, expressing the deliciousness of gummies crafted in the region's pristine natural environment.
