Under the tagline "Kissaten Are Culture" (喫茶店は、文化だ。), the Katappashi Hen'ai Retro Kissaten Exhibition (片っ端から偏愛レトロ喫茶展) will be held for the first time at Namba Parks Museum on the 7th floor of Namba Parks in Namba, Osaka. The display-and-sales event explores retro kissaten (old-style Japanese coffee shops) through exhibits and original goods created in collaboration with long-established kissaten in the Kansai region.
It runs for five days, from Friday, October 30 to Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and is held in collaboration with Katappashi Kara Kissaten (片っ端から喫茶店), a TV Osaka program.
"Shop Retro Kissaten!" Corner
At the "Shop Retro Kissaten!" (レトロ喫茶をお買い物!) corner, original goods from long-established kissaten in the Kansai region are on sale. The designs, inspired by the shops' signboards and menus, combine a retro feel with a fresh look. Tableware actually used in each shop and drip coffee bags are also available for recreating the kissaten atmosphere at home.
