A POP UP STORE for the TV anime Witch Hat Atelier is coming to Loft stores in six cities across Japan. The event's main visual is a newly drawn illustration featuring Coco and five other characters dressed in pajamas for a sleepover-themed scene.

Rendered in an intricate world of light and darkness, this grand high fantasy TV anime is getting its own POP UP STORE in Loft. The event will tour six Loft locations: Kichijoji, Hiroshima, Namba, Sakae, Kyoto, and Sendai. Each venue will offer advance sales of original goods, along with displays of newly drawn illustration panels and anime scene photo panels.

The original story is a classic magical fantasy created by Kamome Shirahama, serialized to great popularity in Kodansha's Morning two magazine. This grand high fantasy of light and darkness, rendered in an intricate world, has finally been adapted into a TV anime!
Magic — it fills the world and enriches people's lives, an indispensable and convenient "miracle." Yet only witches can cast it, and it is this world's law that no one may ever witness the moment a spell is cast.
Coco, a girl who lives in a small village helping her mother, has nonetheless longed to become a witch since she was young. One day, she happens to catch a glimpse of a young witch named Qifrey, visiting the village, casting a spell, and learns a great secret: that anyone can actually use magic by drawing a magic circle with special tools — an absolute secret that witches have kept hidden.
Behind this splendid, fantastical world lies a history of magic that the adults have kept silent about. Born as an ordinary child unaware of any of this, Coco becomes Qifrey's apprentice and learns magic, growing and exploring together with her fellow atelier members as she steps into the secret-filled world of witches.
