Lisa Larson (リサ・ラーソン)
Born September 9, 1931, in southern Sweden. After studying at the Gothenburg University School of Design and Crafts, she joined Gustavsberg at the invitation of art director Stig Lindberg. She became a central designer supporting the company's golden era. Married painter Gunnar Larsson in 1952. Became freelance in 1980 and has since worked with numerous clients. Collaboration with TONKACHI Co., Ltd. (Japan) starting in the 2000s became the catalyst for her worldwide resurgence. In 2022, she was awarded a government medal for her outstanding long-term work renewing and enriching Swedish arts and crafts. Passed away March 11, 2024.
