The 100ml small PET bottles used in the "Kirin Delicious Immune Care" series will be lightened by approximately 27% from 15.3g to 11.1g through improvements to the preform mold shape, with sequential introduction from products manufactured in March 2026.
The newly introduced 11.1g small PET bottle was developed by applying optimal preform shape design technology that considers the stretch ratio from preform to PET bottle. Using this bottle is expected to reduce PET resin usage by approximately 210 tons※6 annually and reduce GHG emissions by approximately 950 tons※7 annually.
