The grounds feature a gently elevated terrain, and from the summit, visitors can enjoy views of the mountains surrounding Kobe.

Nemophila is an annual plant native to North America, with the Japanese name "rurikarakusa" (lapis lazuli vine). Growing to about 20cm in height, it branches finely and spreads horizontally. The flowers feature white centers surrounded by blue petals, resembling a blue sky dotted with clouds.
