Kobe Cruiser Co., Ltd. (Silverbacks Principal Group), which operates the restaurant cruise ships "THE KOBE DINING CRUISE" (Concerto and Luminous Kobe 2) at Kobe Port, is holding the "Minato HANABI Cruise" for five days only, from Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 23, 2026.
The cruise ties in with "Minato HANABI," the fireworks display that has become an autumn tradition at Kobe Port and is marking its fifth year in 2026. This year, the fireworks display time is being extended from 15 to 20 minutes for an even more spectacular autumn evening.
THE KOBE DINING CRUISE is offering special plans that make the most of each ship's character: the Concerto lets guests enjoy a full-course dinner alongside Kobe Port's night view and fireworks while cruising, while the Luminous Kobe 2 pairs a buffet dinner with a close-up view of fireworks launched right in front of the ship's deck. Cruising, dining, night views, and fireworks all come together in this five-day-only shipboard fireworks experience.
Concerto: An Elegant Two-Hour Cruise Combining Night Views, Fireworks, and Fine Dining
Departing from in front of Kobe Harborland umie Mosaic, the Concerto offers a two-hour cruise paired with a full-course dinner served in its onboard restaurant.
Guests can choose between a French course featuring seasonal ingredients or a teppanyaki course featuring Kobe beef and other select ingredients grilled to order right in front of them.
Fireworks can be viewed from the water during the cruise. Enjoy the Concerto's elegant combination of Kobe Port's shifting night view, fireworks lighting up the autumn sky, and fine dining.

Luminous Kobe 2: A 20-Minute Fireworks Display Viewed Up Close From the Deck
On the Luminous Kobe 2, one of Japan's largest restaurant cruise ships, guests enjoy a buffet dinner with all-you-can-drink in the onboard restaurant, then view fireworks from the ship's deck after it docks. A key appeal is watching fireworks launch right in front of the ship from the open-air deck.
This year's fireworks display has been extended to 20 minutes, offering a powerful fireworks experience with light and sound up close.
Dinner is the "Minato HANABI Buffet," which includes all-you-can-drink featuring alcoholic beverages. In addition to standard rooms, a "fireworks-viewing deck room" is available for a more comfortable view of the fireworks.
A Five-Day-Only Premium Experience: Fireworks From a VIP Room With a Private Deck
On the Luminous Kobe 2, a special plan is available in "The Normandie," the ship's top-floor VIP room.
After enjoying the cruise with a special buffet and all-you-can-drink from a special menu, guests can head to the VIP room's private fireworks-viewing deck, taking in the fireworks up close from a more private setting.
