About Kobe Suma Sea World

Kobe Suma Sea World opened on June 1, 2024, and will mark its 2nd anniversary on June 1, 2026. The aquarium offers the only orca performance in western Japan, a buffet restaurant where guests can dine while watching the orcas, and a "Local Life" exhibit that recreates the natural environment of the Seto Inland Sea. The facility also features a world-first educational zone dedicated to learning about orca ecology, blending education ("Education") and entertainment ("Entertainment") into what it calls a "connected edutainment aquarium." Both adults and children can enjoy and learn at the same time.
