Felissimo, which operates the rooftop deck, observation floors, and the low-rise 1st-floor entrance and ticket counter of Kobe Port Tower, is teaming up with Rights and Brands Co., Ltd., which manages the Moomin license in Japan, to hold "Moomin x Kobe Port Tower — a part of KOBE," an experiential event starting Saturday, October 10, that will bring the world of Moomin to sightseeing spots across Kobe City.
Moomin and friends will appear in designs at spots throughout the city, coloring autumn sightseeing in Kobe with the world of Moomin as the event's opening approaches.
The reservation site for entry tickets to the main venue, Kobe Port Tower, bundled with an exclusive novelty, opened at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8.

On October 12 (Mon, public holiday) and 13 (Tue), Kobe Port Tower and the Kobe Maritime Museum will be lit up in the event's theme colors of blue and yellow to mark the occasion. "Tove and the Moomins: In Search of the Most Treasured" at Kobe City Museum
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the publication of the Moomin novels. To commemorate the occasion, the special exhibition "Tove and the Moomins: In Search of the Most Treasured" will be held in cooperation with the Helsinki Art Museum (HAM) in Finland. Tove Jansson (1914–2001), the creator of Moomin, was a multi-talented artist who worked across oil painting, satirical cartoons, comics, picture books, and novels. Around 300 works will be on display, including her early oil paintings, satirical cartoons from before and after World War II, original artwork and sketches from the Moomin novels and comics, and personal belongings, tracing the world of Tove's creativity. The exhibition also explores the appeal of the Moomin series as shaped by her own life.
The venue will feature presentations designed to immerse visitors in the world of Moomin, as well as murals by Tove that are little known in Japan.

Felissimo serves as the producer overseeing the concept work, direction, and website for Kobe Port Tower, which reopened on April 26, 2024, and operates its five observation floors, the rooftop deck (open to visitors for the first time), the low-rise 1st-floor entrance area, and the shared floors on the low-rise 2nd and 3rd floors. In the year following its renewal (through April 25, 2025), total visitors reached 648,667 — the first time annual visitors topped 600,000 since 685,751 in fiscal 1993, a 210% increase over the 302,731 visitors recorded in fiscal 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic (the tower was temporarily closed from March 3 to 31, 2020). About one year and seven months after the renewal, total visitors surpassed one million on December 4, 2025.
