From KOKUNEKO — a brand known for the rich depth of brown sugar and butter combined into what it calls "koku" (depth of flavor) — comes a new treat that cat lovers are sure to enjoy: the Koku-Uma Langue de Chat.
The product features a lightly baked dough made with brown sugar and grass-fed butter*, sandwiching a butter-flavored chocolate** between two langue de chat cookies. The gentle sweetness of the brown sugar and the richness of the butter come together for a layered, full-bodied flavor. The top of each cookie is decorated with designs of the brand's KOKUNEKO cat character, paw prints, or the brand logo — all three designs are included in each box, and which one you get is part of the fun of opening the package.
*Grass-fed butter accounts for 90% of the butter used. Grass-fed butter comes from dairy cows raised through pasture farming, primarily on grass, with supplementary feed used minimally.
