Butter confectionery specialist "Kaoru Butter" Sabrina, which has been offering its bite-size pie "Bon Point" since June 2026 as an early release at Hankyu Umeda Main Store and Keio Department Store Shinjuku, renews the pastry and puts it on sale from Wednesday, September 30, 2026. GRANSTA Tokyo, Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro, and Hakata Hankyu will carry it for the first time.
Fermented Butter and a Unique Method for a "Fluffier, Lighter" Bite
For this renewal, the amount of French fermented butter folded into the pie dough has been increased, letting the butter's rich flavor come through more fully. The way the pastry is folded has also been reworked, so the dough puffs up rounder and fuller, resulting in a lighter, flakier "crisp, crunchy" texture.
Almonds are scattered over the carefully layered pie dough, which is then baked until the surface is crisp and glossy. The result lets you enjoy the aroma of toasted almonds alongside the rich scent of French fermented butter that fills the mouth.
