Kolor is opening a new store at Ikebukuro PARCO, part of the renewal of the mall's 2nd floor, where a range of cultures intersect. It marks another store built around the brand's new creative direction.
The Kolor Ikebukuro PARCO store is defined by a space that combines different materials and viewpoints, including sculptural fixtures and three-dimensional displays that incorporate guardrails. Creative Director Taro Horiuchi, known for concept-making that captures art, culture, and the eras behind them, brings a modern, solid sensibility to Kolor's world, creating a space where visitors can experience the textures and structural shifts of materials in even greater depth.

The new Ikebukuro store — the brand's first location in the area — is more than a place to display merchandise: its space is designed to naturally guide visitors' movement and create a sense of flow through the space, so that people encounter the clothing while walking through it as if viewing works in a private gallery, experiencing Kolor's world from a variety of perspectives.
Guardrails, an everyday material, are reimagined here not just for their function but as objects in their own right, elevated into a new form of three-dimensional expression. By viewing familiar things from a different angle, the store offers a place to discover unexpected beauty and value. The Ikebukuro PARCO store becomes Kolor's 11th location, continuing the brand's approach of combining different materials, colors, patterns, and techniques to create its own distinct balance.

Opening Exclusive T-Shirt
To mark the opening, Kolor is releasing a T-shirt exclusive to the Ikebukuro PARCO store. Inspired by the name "Ikebukuro," which contains the Japanese word for owl ("fukuro"), the design combines photographic and delicate graphic elements around an owl motif to express Kolor's own sense of humor — a special piece created just for the Ikebukuro PARCO store.
