JR Kyushu will launch the KUMADVENTURE (Kumamon Adventure) Train on Saturday, July 4, timed to coincide with the start of the Kumamoto Destination Campaign. On the inaugural day, with the cooperation of Hisatsu Orange Railway Co., Ltd., both companies' Kumamon-wrapped trains will make a special side-by-side stop at Yatsushiro Station — the terminus of the first run (a KiHa 200 series special train).
