Sunste Okayama, the shopping center directly connected to Okayama Station, will host "Kurashimikke: Enjoying Sweets with Pottery (Oyatsu Time)" from June 5 (Friday) to June 7 (Sunday), 2026, at the Sunste Terrace on the 2nd floor of the South Building.
"Kurashimikke" is an event series aimed at offering visitors new ways to discover and enjoy everyday life. The 4th edition takes on the theme of "Enjoying Sweets with Pottery," bringing together pottery sales by local Okayama artists — including Bizen ware potters — artist introductions, and food and drink tastings from stores within the mall.

Pottery Sales
Four to five local Okayama artists will be on-site each day, offering ceramics such as Bizen ware, as well as glassware and wooden tableware. Visitors can browse selections and chat directly with the artists to find a favorite piece.
Hitokuchi Oyatsu Time (Bite-Sized Snack Tasting)
Food and beverage stores within Sunste Okayama will offer samples of sweets and drinks during the event. It's a good opportunity to find the perfect pairing to enjoy with a newly chosen piece of pottery.
Wrapping Corner

Pottery purchased at the event or sweets bought in the mall can be wrapped with stickers and ribbons at this dedicated corner. A participation coupon distributed through the WESPO app is required to take part.

Limited-Time Sweets Pop-Up
From June 1 (Mon) to June 7 (Sun), Sato Yuri no Cheesecake will operate as a period-limited pop-up shop at the event space in front of Vie de France on the 2nd floor of Sunste Okayama South Building.
