The summer pool at Lagunasia, a theme park in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, is set to open on Saturday, June 20.
The lineup includes a variety of pools: the kids' area "Kujira-san's Splash Garden," which debuted last year; the wave pool "Joia Mare no Hamabe," featuring waves that reach up to 1 meter in height; and the 230-meter lazy river "Ouroboros River." Special seasonal activities such as the foam event "Awa-awa Pool," the exciting "Big Wave Time," and a selection of float rentals are also on offer. Entertainment shows featuring in-water dancing and fountain displays are held throughout the season.

Day Pool Details
The kids' pool area "Kujira-san's Splash Garden," which debuted last year, features a shallow zone (water depth 13–30 cm) suitable for young children using a pool for the first time, as well as a kids' zone (water depth 60 cm) packed with interactive play equipment. At the center stands a large dome-shaped slide, "Kujira-san's Slider," approximately 9 meters in diameter and 2 meters tall, complete with a fountain designed to resemble a spouting whale. Visitors can climb and slide down it. Other highlights include the wave pool "Joia Mare no Hamabe," with waves reaching up to 1 meter high, and the 230-meter lazy river "Ouroboros River."

Throughout the season, the popular foam event "Awa-awa Pool," the thrilling "Big Wave Time," and a range of float rentals are available. Entertainment shows unique to Lagunasia — featuring in-water dancing and fountain displays — are held during the season as well.

Big Wave Time (approx. 7 minutes)
Period: Weekends and public holidays during pool operating dates; daily from July 18 (Sat) to August 30 (Sun)
Times: 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM (10:30 AM added on days when Lagunasia opens at 9:30 AM)
Location: Joia Mare no Hamabe
Areas deeper than 1.1 m are limited to middle school students and above.
Only single-seat floats are permitted in areas deeper than 1.1 m.
Float Free Pass
Period: Available on all pool operating dates
Prices:
- Daytime Float Free Pass: ¥1,600 (¥1,000 on weekdays through July 17 (Fri) and weekdays from August 31 (Mon) to September 18 (Fri))
- Evening Float Free Pass: ¥1,300

Splash Aqua-cise

Duration: Approximately 15 minutes (times vary by day)
