TV Aichi is preparing full live coverage of the Okazaki Castle Fireworks Festival, airing this coming weekend with a simultaneous online stream.

Just before the festival opens, this special introduces the highlights of "Okazaki Castle Fireworks 2026," a fireworks display with one of the largest numbers of shells launched in the country. It also explores fireworks facts from Okazaki that "will surprise the world," follows local residents who treat launching hand-held fireworks from the "hoko-bune" boats as a lifelong commitment after 40 years, and previews this year's footage captured by drone from the sky and by camera from the "hoko-bune" boats on the river — footage only seen on television.
Part 2 — Aichi's Pride Is Amazing Again This Year! Full Live Coverage of the Okazaki Castle Fireworks. Shocking Drone Footage Flying Into the Fireworks, With Asaka Seto, Kento Senga, and Summer Classics
A total of 15 cameras unique to the program will capture the massive fireworks display from the sky, from the launch site, and from boats on the river. The program also features the latest drone footage flying into the fireworks, seen only on this program, views of the illuminated Okazaki Castle enjoyed alongside the fireworks and the illusion-like world it creates across the night sky, a segment on the summer classics viewers want to hear together with the fireworks, and a celebration of "Okazaki Castle Fireworks," a summer tradition marking its 78th year, together with guests.
