A new soft serve made with ingredients from a historic British dairy is arriving in Kansai. From Wednesday, August 5, 2026, English Garden Rosanberry Tawada in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture will begin selling "Langage Farm Soft Cream."
Langage Farm, based in Devon, England, is a long-established dairy producer best known for its clotted cream — an essential part of the traditional British cream tea. Prized for the quality of its traditionally made dairy products and its sustainability as the UK's first carbon-neutral dairy farm, Langage Farm has won numerous awards at international dairy competitions and is a popular fixture at department store events in Japan.
Making its Kansai debut, the Langage Farm Soft Cream is made with ingredients imported directly from the historic English farm. Blending two types of milk from British dairy cows creates a distinctive balance, with a rich milk flavor and a clean, refreshing finish.
A Golden Soft Serve Rich with Milk Flavor
Available from Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at the on-site "Sweets Stand" (located in the no-admission-required area), this soft serve is made generously with milk from Jersey and Guernsey cows raised in the green pastures of Devon, England. The soft serve's golden color and creamy texture come from the milk itself, delivering a smooth, chilled texture with the rich flavor of Langage Farm's signature milk blend spreading across the palate. It's an easy way to enjoy a taste that has been loved in Britain for years.

New Langage Farm Additions Launching the Same Day
The garden has long served Langage Farm's signature clotted cream as part of its afternoon tea offerings, and many guests have been won over by its quality. Starting the same day, August 5, the Langage Farm lineup expands with more ways to enjoy the brand.
The new "Cream Tea-Style Sundae," an original Rosanberry Tawada creation, uses the new Langage Farm Soft Cream to recreate the flavor of a traditional British cream tea. Choose from two jam sauce toppings: berry or tropical.

About Langage Farm
Founded in 1948, Langage Farm raises 250 Jersey and Guernsey cows on its own farmland in Devon, England — land with a history stretching back more than 900 years. About English Garden Rosanberry Tawada
Opened in 2011, the garden was created over roughly eight years on the site of a former quarry in Tawada, transformed into a lush, greenery-filled landscape. The "Rose and Perennial Garden," where guests can enjoy the changing seasons through the plants' natural forms, is accented with antique bricks imported from England. In 2025, the English garden — which makes the most of the natural scenery of Maibara's Tawada area — received a garden excellence award at the World Rose Convention.
The grounds also offer a range of relaxing experiences that evoke British culture, including an area themed around the British claymation character Shaun the Sheep, and "TEA PASTRIES," Japan's first official agent for Farrer's, a historic tea house from England's Lake District.
