GYPSO (ジプソ), a chiffon cake specialty shop in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, is introducing three new summer-limited drinks starting June 1, 2026. The shop specializes in gluten-free, oil-free chiffon cakes made with domestically grown rice flour, and this summer it is pairing those signature treats with a lineup of cool refreshments to enjoy during the hot season.
New Summer-Limited Drinks
Coffee Jelly Float — ¥750
A summer-only drink combining house-made coffee jelly with milk, then topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh cream. The bittersweet notes of coffee meld with the gentle sweetness of the ice cream for a dessert-in-a-glass experience.
Available on weekends in limited quantities.
Affogato — ¥550
The Italian classic — fragrant espresso poured over vanilla ice cream. The interplay of cold ice cream and hot espresso creates a simple yet richly satisfying treat.
Organic Lemon Squash — ¥500
A sparkling drink made with organically grown lemons. Kept lightly sweet with the fresh aroma and clean tartness of real lemon, it offers a crisp, refreshing taste well-suited to warm weather.
