The Essential Collection from New York-based bag brand LeSportsac is marking 10 years since its collection debut in 2026. The series, known for its pursuit of lightweight design and portability using micro ripstop nylon fabric — the same material used in apparel — along with durable original aluminum parts, has built a loyal following over the decade.
To celebrate the anniversary year, a variety of special plans are being rolled out throughout 2026. The 2026 Spring collection went on sale on March 18 (Wednesday).

Aluminum Parts Designed for Lightness
The series uses exclusively developed aluminum parts that are lightweight while offering a subtle luster that lends a sense of quality.
Japanese-Made Micro Ripstop Nylon Fabric
The high-quality nylon is woven in Ishikawa Prefecture and dyed and coated in Fukui Prefecture. It achieves a balance of lightness, structure, and elegant sheen.
Soft and Supple Webbing
The webbing fits gently against the body, helping to reduce the strain of carrying loads even on days with lots of moving around.
2026 Spring New Color: Cerulean Frost
For the 2026 Spring collection — the start of the anniversary year — a new color called "Cerulean Frost" has been introduced. Inspired by the morning light streaming into Manhattan, the color evokes the beginning of a New York spring with its refreshing blue hue.
