Choosing Wine Through Labels
Liquor Shop LE is a wine shop designed to naturally bring customers closer to wine. It proposes the joy of selecting wine by being drawn to the etiquette (label) – discovering wines through visual attraction at first glance.
Rather than being bound by knowledge about production regions or classifications, the shop values the feeling of connecting with each bottle through design, atmosphere, and personal attraction. The experience is designed so customers can take that genuine sense of discovery home with them.

Selection by Ginza L'écrin's Sommelier Team
The wine selection at Liquor Shop LE is curated by the sommelier team from Ginza L'écrin. As the store manager, a sommelier who has built extensive experience at Ginza L'écrin is present in the shop, supporting customers' wine selection.
The selection criteria prioritize neither fame nor price.
Wines from small producers and lesser-known importers are chosen with careful attention to taste and character. Finding "truly delicious yet undiscovered" bottles is one of Liquor Shop LE's distinctive appeals.
The expertise cultivated at Ginza L'écrin is shared across the team, connecting to proposals that consider food pairings and occasions. Rather than relying on individual experience, the perspective accumulated as a sommelier team is applied to everyday wine selection.

Experience from Selection Through Dining
At Liquor Shop LE, the time spent selecting wine in-store is considered an essential part of the experience.
A kakuuchi (standing bar) style is incorporated, allowing customers to enjoy sommelier-selected wines by the glass, providing an opportunity to engage with bottles of interest.
Additionally, purchased wines can be brought into the adjacent restaurant "The arts fusion by L'écrin" as BYO (bring your own). Because of the shared management, staff can make proposals considering food pairings, naturally connecting wine selection to dining.
While functioning as an independent wine shop, Liquor Shop LE is designed as a single experience that flows from selection through tasting to dining – a distinctive feature of the establishment.

About The arts fusion by L'écrin
The arts fusion by L'écrin is a restaurant adjacent to Liquor Shop LE. In addition to course menus collaborating with art, it offers à la carte options to casually enjoy with wine.
The interior features two coexisting areas: one embraced by murals by painter Shotaro Sanada, and another converted from the VIP room used by imperial family members and government officials to wait for trains before the war. Each space offers distinct ambiance where guests can enjoy wine and food without formality – a unique charm of this restaurant.
Because of the shared management, wine selection considering food pairings becomes possible, naturally creating an experience that connects bottles chosen at Liquor Shop LE directly to dining.

Product Lineup
Liquor Shop LE offers approximately 600 wines starting from ¥3,000. The lineup focuses on the ¥5,000 to ¥6,000 range, emphasizing a price range that makes selection easy from everyday use to gifts.
Even without extensive wine knowledge, customers can pick up bottles attracted by labels or atmosphere and naturally bring them into their lives. The balance between pricing and selection is carefully considered to enable this natural usage. Additionally, high-price wines centered on classic labels are also prepared as a list.
For sake, a carefully selected lineup is offered, including rare vintage Kuheiji. Craft beers feature over 20 varieties, centered on domestic selections such as Kyoto Brewing.
Leveraging its location directly connected to Ueno Station, the wine shop aims to be easily accessible whether visiting specifically for wine or stopping by on the way home from work or during outings.
