Kids Become KAWAII MONSTER LAND's Own Fashion Icons in Little on Tour Photo Event, September 14 to 18

Studio CARATT and Studio Coffret, the photo studio brands operated by CARATT Co., Ltd., are joining forces with KAWAII MONSTER LAND, the entertainment facility on Harajuku's Takeshita Street built around Japan's "KAWAII" culture, for a special run of the studios' experience-based photo event, Little on Tour. The five-day event takes place from Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 18, 2026, with reservations opening on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Little on Tour Brings a Slice of Harajuku's KAWAII World to Kids

Little on Tour is a photo event where children don't just get photographed looking cute — they become the main character of a themed world and get to fully play the part while the photos are taken. Past editions have been set against backdrops such as a supermarket, giving kids a chance to enjoy "pretending" and expressing themselves.

This time the stage is KAWAII MONSTER LAND, which opened in February 2026 on Harajuku's Takeshita Street. It's an entertainment facility where visitors can take in the "KAWAII" world through shows, music, food, and games.

For this collaboration, kids get to transform into what the event calls the monsters' own fashion icon, stepping into the colorful, pop backdrop that defines Harajuku culture and discovering a side of themselves a little different from their everyday look.

Transform Into the Monsters' Fashion Icon

For the collaboration, special outfits and hair and makeup styling are prepared to match the KAWAII MONSTER LAND world. A colorful kimono is paired with a limited hairstyle set off with sparkly ribbons, turning kids into the star of this "KAWAII" world.

Photos are taken throughout KAWAII MONSTER LAND's colorful, photogenic spaces, framed to look good from every angle.

Kids also get photo time with MONSTER GIRL, the character who represents Harajuku's pop, slightly wild kawaii culture.

Rather than simply capturing a cute look, the event is about enjoying the experience of expressing yourself freely — that's the new kind of photo experience "Little on Tour x KAWAII MONSTER LAND" is offering.
