From October 10 (Friday) to October 31 (Friday), 2025, a collaboration event with "Love Live! Superstar!!" will be held at the Asakusa Kappabashi Honmachi Kousaikai Shopping Street.
The shopping street will be decorated with lanterns featuring original designs, life-size panels, and banners, transforming the entire area into a Liella!-themed destination.
Simply strolling through the street becomes a special experience, offering unique scenery that can only be seen here, perfect to combine with your Asakusa sightseeing.
About Kappabashi Honmachi Kousaikai Shopping Street
Kappabashi Honmachi is an east-west road that intersects at the center of the Kappabashi Dougu Street. The section from the eastern side of the Dougu Street to Kokusai Street is the "Kousaikai Shopping Street" (Promotion Association) area.
This historic shopping street was developed as a "shortcut connecting Ueno and Asakusa" and as the "Onari-michi" (ceremonial path) for high-ranking monks from Kan'ei-ji Temple visiting Senso-ji Temple. During the Meiji and Taisho periods, it bustled with activity throughout the day.
In addition to shops handling cooking utensils and tableware, the street features a diverse range of restaurants, cafes, and variety stores, making it a beloved destination for both tourists and locals—a street that's enjoyable to walk through just for the experience itself.
1. Liella! Lanterns Appear! Fantastically Illuminated at Night
New original design lanterns will decorate the shopping street.
During the day, they serve as photo spots, while at night, they transform into a fantastic space enveloped in lantern light, offering different atmospheres depending on the time of day.
These lanterns become unique photo opportunities, so be sure to visit the Kappabashi Honmachi Kousaikai Shopping Street and enjoy taking photos with Tokyo Skytree in the background.
2. Life-Size Panels and Banners Decorate the Street
Life-size panels of Liella! members, banners, and flags will appear throughout the shopping street.
The fun of searching for your favorite character while strolling creates an additional layer of enjoyment. The entire shopping street becomes a stage, colored entirely in Liella! theme, making the street walk itself a special experience.
By visiting in combination with Asakusa sightseeing, you can enjoy scenery that can only be seen here.
3. Visitor Participation Campaigns
A campaign offering original coasters when you use designated shops in the shopping street, as well as a scratch card lottery where winners receive limited items, will be held.
These initiatives provide additional enjoyment through activities that can be experienced while shopping and dining.
This collaboration is the second edition, following last year's event.
The entire shopping street aims to promote tourism and create a lively atmosphere, delivering a new way to enjoy Asakusa together with Liella!.
