MATCHAMON, a Japan-born global matcha brand, opened its third domestic location on April 23, 2026, inside "Kanazawa Hyakuban-gai Anto," a shopping complex directly connected to Kanazawa Station. Following stores in Kyoto and Asakusa, this marks the brand's expansion into Kanazawa — a city where traditional culture and contemporary sensibility intersect.
Built around the concept of "Making the best matcha into the best matcha latte," the brand uses carefully selected, top-quality domestic matcha. Each cup is prepared to order right in front of the customer, using traditional whisking techniques to bring out the full depth of flavor and aroma.

The menu centers on matcha drinks prepared to order, alongside a selection of matcha sweets.
The signature Matcha Latte brings together the rich umami of matcha with the smoothness of milk, with a silky texture and vivid green color achieved through careful whisking. Milk options include regular, soy, and oat, available both hot and iced.
Other drinks include Matcha Water — which showcases the pure, direct character of the matcha itself — Matcha Tonic for a refreshing carbonated option, and Strawberry Matcha Latte, which pairs the sweet-tart flavor of strawberry with the slight bitterness of matcha.

The sweets lineup features Matcha Gelato, matcha and hojicha financiers, and monaka wafer sandwiches. The monaka takes a contemporary twist on a traditional Japanese confectionery, combining sweet red bean paste with mascarpone or butter for a lighter, modern flavor.
