TSUTAYA Sendai Ekimae will host the "Metal Hero POP UP STORE in Sendai" starting Saturday, August 29, 2026, CRAZY BUMP Co., Ltd. — a company that plans and runs subculture-themed exhibitions covering manga, anime, tokusatsu, and more — has announced.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Juukou B-Fighter's original broadcast, and enthusiasm for the series shows no sign of fading. With its original insect-themed designs, a story that combines grand, comical drama with environmental themes, and the signature "Juukou!!" battle cry familiar to Metal Hero Series fans, the show's iconic "メタルフォーゼ" hero transformations captured the hearts of a generation of children. This pop-up brings together three titles: Juukou B-Fighter, its sequel B-Fighter Kabuto, and B-Robo Kabutack, another popular series centered on a beetle protagonist in the same vein as the B-Fighter series.
The pop-up will feature a wide range of new merchandise. Alongside apparel such as T-shirts and caps focused on each series, the store will roll out collectible goods including popular acrylic stands, keychains, stickers, and can badges one after another. Items evoking the era, along with original products that reflect each series' world through 墓場の画廊's distinctive playful design sensibility, are also currently in the works.
This memorial pop-up store invites both the generation who grew up watching the series in real time and newly discovered fans to rediscover its appeal together.
It's time to gather at TSUTAYA Sendai Ekimae — not for roll call, but for a hearty shout of "Juukou!"
