MIKOTO-MATSURI (命音祭), a new immersive wellbeing festival produced by Wellbeing Life Flow, is set to take place at Kanda Myojin Shrine Hall (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Under the concept "URBAN SATORI — Awakening in the City," the event uses the historic shrine as a backdrop for a multi-sensory experience that engages sight, sound, and scent. Capacity is 150 (first-come, first-served).
A New Kind of Festival for Inner Peace
In an age of information overload, many people feel disconnected from their inner senses and from the communities around them. Drawing on the vision "from inner peace to world peace," Wellbeing Life Flow created MIKOTO-MATSURI as a platform proposing a new model of festival — one that blends Japanese tradition with contemporary art.
Kanda Myojin Shrine, said to have been founded in the second year of the Tenpyō era (730 AD), provides the spiritual setting. The festival represents its second edition.

Immersive Program: Art, Technology, and Tradition
Spatial Design: Bamboo Light, Driftwood Art, and Fragrance
The spatial environment is co-created by bamboo lighting artist 池田親生 (Ikeda Chikao), driftwood artist おのわたる (Ono Wataru), and perfumer Rui Kishida. Light, natural materials, and scent are woven together three-dimensionally. A lotus flower installation will be placed at the center of the venue, while a dragon artwork hangs overhead. The bamboo lighting is made from recycled bamboo from overgrown groves, contributing to sustainable land management.

Sound Design: Brainwaves and Frequency
Electronic musician and plant music researcher 田中圭吾 (Tanaka Keigo) leads the sonic environment, employing binaural beats, pulse music, and Cymatics visuals.

| Binaural Beats | Delivering slightly different frequencies to each ear produces a rhythmic auditory phenomenon. Guests experience this while wearing headphones. |
| Plant / Human Pulse Music | Faint bioelectric signals from plants and people are converted into sound, making the pulse of life audible. |
| Cymatics Visuals | Sound vibrations are visualized as ripple patterns on water, turning invisible sound into a visible, meditative experience. |

Eight-Stage Immersive Program with 10 Artists
The program is structured around eight stages inspired by the ancient Indian chakra system, layered with modern understanding of frequencies, brainwave states, color, movement, and music. It is designed to guide participants progressively from everyday mental states into deeper immersion and integration.
The roster includes rapper and singer COMA-CHI, taiko drummer 小林太郎 (Kobayashi Taro), calligrapher こまりえ (Komarie), and seven other acts, along with three storytellers.
