Expo Commemoration Park in Suita, Osaka will host the 5th Day the Expo Night Sky Becomes Art on Saturday, November 21, 2026 — an autumn entertainment event representing the Osaka Hokusetsu area, combining fireworks perfectly synchronized with music and drone art performances.
Since its debut in 2022, the event has been held under the concept of building an Expo legacy rooted in the local community, drawing a combined total of more than 100,000 visitors over the years. This year's catchphrase is "Beyond the Past, Toward New Entertainment." The viewing area moves to the East Plaza, where a wide fireworks display and three-dimensional drone art will make full use of the new setting. Fireworks synchronized with music, together with light and sound coloring the late-autumn night sky, are set to bring a new level of entertainment and immersion.
It marks a special night celebrating the event's 5th anniversary.
Highlights
A Wide Fireworks Display Filling the Field of View
This year's viewing area is Expo Commemoration Park's East Plaza, where visitors can experience the display up close. Around 15,000 fireworks will spread dynamically across the full width of the viewing seats, creating a panoramic display that fills the field of view. The fireworks, launched in a line directly in front of the seats, form an impressive scale, and the display — perfectly synchronized with the music — builds toward its climax.

A Fantastical Night Sky Painted by Cutting-Edge Drone Art and Fireworks
The drone art that was well received last year returns this year with the latest three-dimensional drone performances, drawing works of light across the night sky as a giant canvas. Visitors can look forward to a fantastical art space that can only be seen at this place and time.
