Minami-Chita Beachland & Minami-Chita Toy Kingdom (Mihama-cho, Chita District, Aichi Prefecture; Director: Mamoru Ishido) will begin offering "Sakana Quest" from September 5 (Saturday) — an aquarium exploration game that uses AI image-recognition technology, described as the first attempt of its kind at an aquarium in the prefecture.
Using a dedicated tablet, "Sakana Quest" invites visitors to search out sea creatures around the park while taking on quizzes and puzzles. It's a new style of hands-on game designed to give families with kids who love fish and other sea creatures a fun way to learn.
Aquarium Exploration Game "Sakana Quest"
The game's theme is a puzzle-solving expedition to find treasure from a sunken ship.
Players join an exploration team and use the tablet's camera to spot creatures hidden around the park. Finding a creature unlocks related quizzes and puzzles, with the goal of completing the mission.
