A new line of Fukushima peach sweets called MOMOÉMI (ももえみ) is now on sale as of April 6 (Monday). The series was developed by Takatiho Co., Ltd. using "Momo no Megumi," a straight peach juice produced by JA Fukushima Mirai, and consists of three distinct treats.

The MOMOÉMI series brings together three individually crafted flavors, each highlighting the sweetness and fragrance of Fukushima peaches.
The Peach × Yogurt-Flavored Chocolate Sandwich Cookie combines the rich aroma and sweetness of peach with a refreshing yogurt-flavored finish. The Fukushima Peach Milk Cream Cheese Tart layers the sweetness of peach with the savory depth of cream cheese. The Fukushima Peach Custard Cake has a soft, fluffy texture and a gentle flavor that lets the peach aroma shine through.
The Story Behind MOMOÉMI
The brand was born out of a desire to create a new kind of Fukushima souvenir and to bring the appeal of Fukushima peaches to a wider audience. That search led to "Momo no Megumi," the straight peach juice from JA Fukushima Mirai. The goal was to transform its flavor into a confection that would spark delight from the moment it was picked up.
The name MOMOÉMI blends the word for "peach" (momo) with "smile" (emi), connecting back to the juice's name "Momo no Megumi" while evoking the image of someone smiling upon tasting it. The development process — from concept to completion — took approximately six months. The packaging design is vivid and eye-catching, inspired by cosmetics and lifestyle goods, and is intended to make the sweets feel like something you would want to reach for on sight.
