Morinaga Angel Museum MORIUM, located within the Morinaga Confectionery Tsurumi factory in Yokohama, reopens on Tuesday, February 24, following renovations to mark its 4th anniversary. The museum, which opened in 2022 and surpassed 100,000 visitors in 2025, has refreshed part of its permanent exhibits to better convey both the company's history and its vision for the future.
Designed around the concept of "Encounter a new yet nostalgic MORINAGA," the museum offers visitors of all generations a space to enjoy and share both "new" and "nostalgic" experiences. The renovation expands exhibits focused on the path Morinaga Confectionery has walked and the future it is heading toward. To commemorate the renovation, a "MORIUM Spring Outing Campaign" will be held from March 23 to April 10.

"MORINAGA Timeline" Area Updates
The "MORINAGA Timeline" area is divided into three themed corners — "Pioneer," "Purpose," and "History" — tracing the journey of Morinaga Confectionery from its founding through its product packaging and promotional materials.
"Pioneer" – Renovated Permanent Exhibit
The founding-era display has been updated to more clearly communicate the pioneering spirit of founder Taichiro Morinaga and the values that live on today. Taichiro Morinaga established the company in 1899 with a desire to bring nutritious and delicious Western confectionery to people in Japan, at a time when food supplies were limited. As a pioneer of Western confectionery in Japan, he built the foundation of the country's confectionery industry through large-scale production, a distribution network, and extensive advertising.

"Purpose" – New Permanent Exhibit
A new exhibit showcasing the present and future of Morinaga Confectionery has been added, expressing the corporate philosophy and overall vision through the image of a growing forest tree.

"History" – Permanent Exhibit
This corner displays product packaging and promotional materials from the founding era through the present. No changes have been made to this section.
