As a special New Year celebration, the "Sacred Ground" MUFG National Stadium Prayer Tour will be held for five days only: January 3 (Sat), 4 (Sun), 5 (Mon), 14 (Wed), and 15 (Thu), 2026.
In collaboration with Hatomori Hachiman Shrine, the local guardian shrine of the Sendagaya area where the National Stadium is located, this special New Year project offers the regular stadium tour program plus the opportunity to write wishes on ema votive plaques for dedication. A torii gate will also be installed at the player entrance that leads to the pitch, one of the tour's highlights. All dedicated ema plaques will later be blessed at Hatomori Hachiman Shrine and ceremonially burned.
Make MUFG National Stadium your first shrine visit of the year. We look forward to welcoming you.
