My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition "OUR HERO" Opens in Tokyo in January 2027, Then Osaka in March, With Key Visual and Ticket Details Revealed

Kohei Horikoshi's "My Hero Academia," affectionately known as "Hero Aca," ran for 10 years in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) and has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. Set in a world where superpowers called "Quirks" are commonplace, the hero-action story follows Izuku Midoriya, known as Deku, as he grows alongside his classmates at the elite hero-training school U.A. High, aiming to become a hero who protects society from villains who misuse their Quirks. The TV anime adaptation wrapped up its Final Season last December, bringing the eight-season, 170-episode series to a close.

This year, 2026, marks the 10th anniversary of the "Hero Aca" anime, and the "My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary" commemorative project is now underway.

"My Hero Academia TV Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition OUR HERO" Set for Tokyo and Osaka

One of the anniversary project's centerpieces, the "My Hero Academia TV Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition OUR HERO," has been confirmed to run in Tokyo from Friday, January 8 to Sunday, February 7, 2027, followed by Osaka from Friday, March 5 to Friday, March 28.

The exhibition traces the anime's 10-year journey since the first season premiered in April 2016, using visuals, original artwork, three-dimensional displays, and video footage. Over the past decade, "Hero Aca" has produced a full 171-episode TV run, four feature films, and seven original animations, so a rich, comprehensive showcase is guaranteed.

New key visuals have also been created for the exhibition. Following the earlier reveal of Deku, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and All Might, four more characters have now been unveiled: Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Eijiro Kirishima, and Tsuyu Asui. More characters are set to be revealed in the lead-up to the exhibition.

As a highlight of the exhibition, production of a brand-new life-size figure has also been confirmed, and a first look at the figure's creation process has been shared. Progress updates on the figure will continue to be posted on the exhibition's official X account and website.

Entry bonuses have also been announced. Every visitor will receive a lenticular card featuring the exhibition's original key visual, which changes appearance depending on the viewing angle when tilted. In addition, a merchandise-bundled ticket will be available that pairs an acrylic panel featuring the original key visual with playful, blister-pack-style packaging. Further details on the designs and specifications of each bonus item will be announced at a later date.

The "My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary" project will continue to unveil new plans throughout this milestone year.
