Nagaragawa Seiryu Hotel is holding its popular annual summer event, the Nagaragawa Seiryu Summer Festival, for three days only, from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 16, 2026. The event is filled with food inspired by festival food stalls and hands-on activities for the whole family. It makes for a great outing during the Obon homecoming season, with a summer festival the whole family can enjoy together.

Grilled Ayu and Somen Noodle Slides in the Garden
In the hotel's garden, guests can enjoy classic summer activities such as watermelon splitting, somen noodle slides, and charcoal-grilled ayu (sweetfish), along with gohei mochi made with the hotel's signature Gifu miso.
Hotel-Quality "Summer Festival" Food
The lineup includes summer festival staples such as stall-style yakisoba, takoyaki, curry, and chilled cucumber, alongside keichan fried chicken and kushikatsu skewers inspired by local soul food, offering plenty for adults and children alike.
Desserts Kids Can Make Themselves
Children can grill their own dorayaki and crepes and choose their favorite toppings to finish them off. Self-shaved shaved ice is also available, offering a hands-on experience that sparks kids' curiosity.
Festival-Style Games and Activities
There are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy, including yo-yo fishing and super ball scooping. As a centerpiece activity, guests can also try making a Mino washi paper "korokoro" (a roly-poly doll).
