NANGA's flagship down wear, including the AURORA-TEX® DOWN JACKET, the Japan-made AURORA-TEX® DOWN JACKET IBUKI and the AURORA TEX LIGHT DOWN JACKET MIKAMI, will be released in stages starting Friday, October 9, 2026.
The AURORA-TEX® DOWN JACKET, made with NANGA's original waterproof, breathable material AURORA-TEX®, is the brand's signature winter model. This season, two new colors join the lineup: BLU (blue), which adds a bright accent to winter styling, and S.BEG (sand beige), which goes with a wide range of outfits.
The lineup goes beyond down jackets. It also includes the AURORA-TEX® STAND COLLAR DOWN VEST, which is easy to layer, the AURORA-TEX® DOWN FIELD HALF COAT, which can be worn loosely over other clothes, and the AT DOWN HALF COAT W, which can be worn day to day.
The Japan-made AURORA-TEX® DOWN JACKET IBUKI also gets a seasonal color: PPL (purple), a deep shade with a strong presence.
The AURORA TEX LIGHT DOWN JACKET MIKAMI comes in the calm BLU (blue) and SAGE (sage), a color that blends naturally into its surroundings. It uses AURORA TEX light, a waterproof, breathable material that is lighter than AURORA-TEX®, and offers a light feel and warmth suited to a wide range of situations, from outdoor use to everyday wear.
The down technology and functionality NANGA has developed remain the same, and the new colors make it easier to choose a piece that fits your lifestyle and the occasions you wear it for.

A stand collar that suits town use
A staple down jacket that has been refined over repeated improvements to reduce cold spots caused by crushed down. The raglan sleeves keep the arms free to move, so it stays comfortable even when worn for a long time.
AURORA-TEX® STAND COLLAR DOWN VEST
A vest-type AURORA down piece that widens your styling range
A down vest made with AURORA-TEX® that can be worn over a long period, depending on how you layer it. The stand collar blocks cold air at the neck and still looks good when paired with a hoodie. The gathered armholes are stretchy and easy to move in, making it a good choice for outdoor activities in fall and winter.
AURORA-TEX® DOWN FIELD HALF COAT
A military-style design intended for town use
A military-style half coat that looks good both outdoors and in town, with the same functionality as the AURORA-TEX® series. It is filled with 150 g of Spanish white duck down and keeps you warm down to above the knees.

The Japan-made flagship model
A higher-grade version of the AURORA-TEX® down jacket, based on the standard model with new details added. Features such as a high neckline that keeps out cold air and rain and large pockets with plenty of storage aim for better warmth while maintaining functionality.
AURORA TEX LIGHT DOWN JACKET MIKAMI
A lightweight, extra-warm jacket built on Level 7 theory
A high-end down jacket that evokes the majestic form of Mt. Mikami, the beautiful solitary peak rising in Shiga Prefecture, where NANGA is based. It is a Japan model that follows the structural theory of Level 7, and the back uses box quilting, as used in sleeping bags, to improve warmth.

The stand collar version of NANGA's carefully crafted "MIKAMI"
AURORA TEX light "MIKAMI" has been improved so the down loft is less likely to be crushed, with features such as quilted construction and pockets that are separate from the torso. Compared with the hooded model, the stand collar model has a cleaner look, so it is easy to wear in town as well.

Despite its minimalist look, this is a full-fledged down jacket that uses the waterproof, breathable fabric AURORA-TEX® and 760FP Spanish white duck down. The brand name on the chest is embroidered in the same color as the body, so it is a subtle piece that can be worn in any situation.
