Nanki-Shirahama Marriott Hotel is renewing its collaboration room with Adventure World, the nearby theme park where visitors can get close to the lives of its many animals. To mark the renewal, the hotel is launching a new stay plan, "Smiles and Animals Room Stay," from Saturday, August 1, 2026 through Wednesday, March 31, 2027, offering a themed room experience designed to connect with a visit to Adventure World.
An Edutainment Room Inspired by Adventure World's Animals
The "Smiles and Animals Room" is a specially designed guest room themed around the roughly 120 species and 1,600 animals that live at Adventure World, with artwork of the animals covering the walls and interior. At check-in, guests receive a mission sheet and can take on quizzes about the animals' features and habits while observing the artwork in their room, deepening their knowledge in a way that carries over into their visit to the park. Holding a smartphone up to the lion painted on the wall also unlocks a special AR content experience available only to hotel guests.
Guests who complete the mission sheet's survey quiz receive an "Animal Master" certificate and a can badge. The room blends "education" and "entertainment," aiming to turn a fondness for animals into deeper fascination and discovery.
Kids Stay and Eat Free During the Summer Renewal Celebration
To celebrate the room's renewal, children's room and meal charges are offered free of charge from Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 31, 2026, with guests only asked to cover the Adventure World admission fee. The offer runs for the summer holiday period, giving families a more affordable way to enjoy the stay together.
