Adventure World (Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture) is collaborating with Nanki Shirahama Marriott Hotel (Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture; General Manager: Shoichi Sasagawa) to launch a new special guest room that lets guests feel closer to the park's diverse animals. The room, "A Room That Will Capture Your Heart — Smiles and Animals Room Stay," will be available for a limited time starting August 1, 2026 (Saturday).
The room previously operated as the "Panda Room," offering guests special moments and smiles. Keeping those cherished memories and warm feelings intact, it is now being renewed as the "Smiles and Animals Room" to bring new excitement featuring all of the park's animals. The room is decorated with motifs of the roughly 120 species and 1,600 animals that live at the park, and includes missions that let children play while searching for, observing, and learning about the animals. The design also incorporates elements from amusement rides popular with kids. The stay is designed to spark a feeling of "wanting to know more" at the hotel, which then carries over into real encounters with the animals at the park the following day, letting guests feel the appeal of life throughout their trip.

The guest room features designs of the animals that live at Adventure World. Beyond the wallpaper, various animals are also depicted on the closet and in the bathroom area, filling the entire room with animals. Playful details are tucked throughout the room, encouraging guests to spot them and exclaim, "Oh, there's one here too!" The room has been transformed into a special space where guests can enjoy encountering and discovering animals throughout their hotel stay.
(2) Take on the "Animal Mission" and Aim to Become an Animal Master!
Exclusively for hotel guests, an "Animal Mission" activity is available for parents and children to enjoy together, aimed mainly at kids. In this hands-on content, children search for animals hidden around the room and observe animal features such as horns and patterns, deepening their interest in and knowledge of animals along the way. Completing the mission earns guests an Animal Master certificate and an original can badge.
The curiosity sparked at the hotel can then lead to real encounters and new discoveries with the actual animals at Adventure World the following day.
