Japan Label, the anime and manga collaboration line from apparel brand earth music&ecology, is teaming up with TV anime Natsume's Book of Friends for a new collection built around Nyanko-sensei. Pre-orders open August 7, 2026 (Friday) at 6:00 PM on the official web store STRIPE CLUB, with sales also planned at select stores.
Natsume's Book of Friends follows Takashi Natsume, a high school student who can see yokai, and his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei, in a heartwarming story about the bonds formed between humans and yokai. Its gentle, calming world and moving depiction of that relationship have won it a devoted following.
The 8-piece collection weaves Nyanko-sensei and his favorite foods into its designs, for a lineup meant to bring a bit of warmth every time it's worn.
The items include a knit cardigan and stole rendering Nyanko-sensei motifs like a sake bottle, grilled squid, and paw prints in jacquard; a camisole dress and flare skirt that tuck Nyanko-sensei into a botanical print; a hoodie featuring an original illustration; and a fluffy boa shoulder bag and pouch, plus a bag charm printed with original artwork.

About Natsume's Book of Friends
Serialized in Monthly LaLa (Hakusensha) with over 18 million copies in print, Natsume's Book of Friends is the anime adaptation of the popular comic series. Takashi Natsume, a boy who has been able to see yokai since childhood, inherits the "Book of Friends" left behind by his grandmother Reiko. Together with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei, he spends his days returning the names of yokai bound within its pages — a beautiful, fleeting story about the ties between humans and yokai.
