New Balance's low-profile "204L" is getting an ABC-MART-exclusive colorway, going on sale nationwide at ABC-MART stores and the official online store from September 10, 2026 (Thursday).
A new visual campaign featuring actress Nana Mori, known for her wide-ranging work on screen, launches the same day. Designed to fit naturally into everyday scenes and make an ordinary day feel more comfortable, the "204L" is shown through Mori's natural, expressive presence, capturing the shoe's urban, sophisticated character and the way it blends into fall/winter styling.

Where Retro Meets Modern: About the 204L
The "204L" combines a 2000s running-shoe upper with today's trend toward low-profile silhouettes. Its premium leather and suede upper uses a design and last inspired by archive models, giving it a sleek, speed-oriented look.

About Nana Mori
Born August 31, 2001, in Oita Prefecture.
She was cast as the heroine, Hina Amano, in director Makoto Shinkai's Weathering With You (2019), which brought her into the spotlight.
At the 49th Japan Academy Film Prize, she received the Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in Kokuho, a film that became a social phenomenon.
Her other major credits include Last Letter (2020), Kono Koi Atatamemasu ka (2020, TBS), Liar × Liar (2021), The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House (2023, Netflix), First Kiss (2025), Frontline (2025), 5 Centimeters per Second (2025), Hirayasumi (2025, NHK), and the starring film Enjo (2026). Wara ni mo Sugaru Kemono-tachi is also set for release on September 25, 2026.
